Every electrical installation deteriorates with age, many additions or alterations to installations were carried out to older regulations, or in some cases to no regulations at all. This is why it is vital to conduct inspection and testing of electrical installations. This is carried out with the production of an electrical installation condition report (EICR)
This report will identify any areas of the installation that are unsafe, require remedial works, or if any alteration or addition has impaired the existing installation.
