When conducting live fire training, the maximum number of delegates that should attend is 15, as this complies with HSE guidelines for this type of training. However, prior to conducting the live fire training, a full risk assessment is undertaken to ensure the venue is suitable. Delegate numbers can be tailored and we can provide seminars for the theory side of the training for larger groups of staff.
Our trainers are fully insured to complete live fire training and we hold both public liability and professional indemnity coverage.
Our Live Fire trainer is an experienced ex fire service officer with 19 years service and his qualifications for this work include the modules A and B of the fire safety enforcement officer from the Fire Service College, a NEBOSH general certificate in Health and Safety and a BTEC in Fire Risk Management from Edexcel. He also has a professional trainers certificate for CIEH for whom he is also an accredited trainer. He is a member of the Institute of Fire Prevention Officers, an associate of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers and an associate of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Managers.
